Week Calendar for iPhone goes free for two days

Week Calendar 1

We recently published a list of our favorite calendar apps for the iPad. After the list was published, some of our readers suggested that Week Calendar was worthy of the “Best Of” nomenclature, to which we agreed and updated the list accordingly.

The very next day, the app’s developer sent me an email to let me know that the iPhone version of Week Calendar is going to be free for a special promotion on July 15 and 16 only. If you haven’t already, be sure to grab this amazing app on the iPhone before it goes back up to full price…

Week Calendar 3

This app offers a variety of useful features that fans can’t seem to live without. You can see your entire month’s view at a glance or switch to the week’s view for a more detailed look at your upcoming events. Switch to the daily view to see what you’ve got on your plate right now.

You can reschedule meetings and events simply by dragging and dropping them into a new location. Set icons for events to help make it easier to see what is coming up. Use a template for groups of events. Add an event on the fly using the Quick Events feature.

Week Calendar 2

You can link your contacts to a meeting so you will be able to quickly call or text message attendees. Invite contacts to your meetings with a request for an RSPV.

The app features a variety of viewing options, including portrait or landscape. Plus, you can hide the weekends if there are no events or appointments scheduled. Customize the action menu to change events with just a few taps.

Find out how long it will take to get to your meeting with the in-app travel time feature. Let the app complete your event with smart auto complete. Enter any word you’ve previously used for an event and it will automatically populate the creation template with past event info. You can even share appointments with others nearby using Airdrop.

Week Calendar 5

Why would the app’s developer put such a popular app on sale for two days?

The World Cup.

“As a Company based in the Netherlands, we are very proud of what our guys achieved in Brazil. With their courage, strength and cleverness they strive to reach their goal just like us, to be the best! They fought like lions and never gave up. We want to celebrate this extraordinary achievement not only in the Netherlands, but with the entire world!” says David van Brakel, CEO Week Calendar.

Week Calendar for iPhone is on sale for free on July 15 and 16 only. It is normally priced at $1.99. So, if you’ve always wanted to try the app, but didn’t want to spend the money, now is your chance to check it out. Download it in the App Store today.
