After receiving an update a little over a month ago that has enabled push notifications for various social activities going on in your stream, the popular Internet radio service Rdio today issued another minor update to its free iPhone and iPad client.

A pair of new features included in the new Rdio version 2.5.10 focus on improving the design of your radio stations: revamped station artwork for a cleaner look and all-new Pages for Rdio’s endless stations…

Rdio 2.5.10 changelog:

  • Station Pages. Now, each of Rdio’s endless stations has a dedicated page, detailing artists in the station, recent listeners and related stations.
  • New Station Artwork. We’ve redesigned each station’s artwork to have a sleek, clean look.

Release notes don’t mention other refinements aside from the aforementioned feature additions. Rdio recently acquired TastemakerX, a San Francisco-based music discovery and curation service, and previously snapped up hingana, one of the largest streaming music services in India.

Earlier in the summer, the service expanded into nine additional countries. Rdio is now available in a total of 60 countries.

Rdio is available free in the App Store.

The app requires iOS 7.0 or later and a Rdio subscription, starting at seven bucks per month for unlimited listening everywhere. The service also offers various Family plans and a 14-day free trial.

Has anyone recently made the jump from Rdio to Spotify?
