New Apps

PolymoPolymo is a new app that helps you to capture and curate your photos, making moments easier to remember. The app has a simple camera mode that lets you add tags before you take photos, and you can search your new gallery to quickly discover what you are looking for. You can also sort and share your photos. Polymo is $1.99 on the App Store for iPhone.

Civil 2Civilization Revolution 2 is the sequel to one of the most successful strategy games for mobile devices. The game challenges you to build a glorious empire that will stand the test of time, featuring new combat units, technology, buildings and wonders, scenario challenges, enhanced graphics and more. Civilization Revolution 2 is $14.99 for iPhone and iPad.

Atari RemixIt is kind of weird and unexpected for the American diner Denny’s and legacy video game maker Atari to team up on an iPhone app, but that is exactly what we have here in Denny’s Atari Remix. Destroy hashteroids, fight off the centipup and break down walls made solely of breakfast foods. Denny’s Atari Remix is free on the App Store for iPhone.

Updated Apps

GT 2GT Racing 2 is a true-to-life automative journey featuring prestigious cars from around the world. The app, which is based on the best-selling Gameloft franchise, was recently updated with new exclusive cars, new leagues and divisions, new collectable items, the return of the global leaderboard and more. GT Racing 2 is free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.

Birds GoAngry Birds Go! is yet another spinoff in the insanely popular Angry Birds franchise by Rovio. Today, the Finnish developer updated the game to version 1.4.0 with a new multiplayer mode and new challenges. Rovio teases that more fast-feathered multiplayer action is coming soon. Angry Birds Go! is free on the App Store and is universal for iPhone and iPad.

WemoBelkin has updated its official WeMo app for controlling the WeMo Switch and WeMo Motion connected home peripherals. The app was bumped to version 1.7 yesterday afternoon with new product support for the upcoming WeMo Link accessory, bug fixes and general improvements. The WeMo home remote control app is free on the App Store for iPhone.

On Sale Apps

OTTTOTTTD was featured by Apple as one of the best games on the App Store a few months ago, and today you can now get the app for the discounted price of just $2.99. The game, regularly $4.99, involves commanding heroes, building towers and discovering strange, exotic worlds that you blow to bits. OTTTD is $2.99 on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.

FanFantastical 2 for iPad is a popular and award-winning calendar app that can now be yours for $14.99, down from its regular price of $19.99 for a limited time. Fantastical has fluctuated in price since launching at the beginning of April, having gone as cheap as $9.99 in mid-June. Fantastical 2 for iPad is $14.99 on the App Store while this sale is ongoing.
