Path has released a standalone app for Path Messenger called Path Talk. The app serves as an alternative to SMS and Facebook for messaging friends and others, with messages automatically erased after 24 hours, ambient status, music and map sharing, quick replies, handmade stickers, voice messaging and more. Path Talk is free on the App Store for iPhone.
Transformers: Age of Extinction is a new game that our own Cody Lee recently highlighted. The 3D combat runner game features a cinematic universe in which your mission is to take down Decepticon enemies as you run, dash and change forms as a cast of Autobot heroes. Delectable is a new wine scanner and journal that Apple recently promoted on the App Store. The app helps you know your wine by taking a photo of a wine label to instantly get ratings and descriptions. In addition to discounting over 40 games to just 99 cents, Electronic Arts has released an update for The Simpsons: Tapped Out that marks the appearance of robed figures in Springfield. Decipher clues and perform special tasks, plot schemes, complete quests and keep your secrets safe at the Stonecutter Lodge. The Simpsons: Tapped Out is free for iPhone and iPad.
Facetune is a portrait and selfie photo editor, allowing anyone to photoshop pictures to perfection without an expensive price tag or complicated tools. Facetune lets you apply simple retouches and artistic flair to head shots and selfies directly on your iPhone. Make yourself look your so-called “Hollywood best” in Facetune, which is $2.99 on the App Store.

To celebrate the launch of new levels, Thomas Was Alone has been discounted to $5.99 as a special sale price. In the award-winning platformer game, Thomas is a curious rectangle that unravels the mysteries of his existence in a wonderfully strange world. The app is regularly $8.99 on the App Store, so you are saving three dollars for a limited time.
Hatch has been discounted from $1.99 to 99 cents on the App Store for likely a limited time. The app is essentially a virtual pet named Fugu that has a naturally gentle disposition and requires minimal care. But when given extra love and attention, Fugu truly thrives. The game features basic pet care, an enchanted toy, decorations and more. Hatch is 99¢ for iPhone.
To celebrate the imminent release of The Frostmarch, Talisman has been discounted from $7.99 to $3.99 as part of a limited time half-price sale. Talisman is a classic fantasy adventure board game designed for 1 to 4 players. Roll a die to move around the board, draw cards and encounter dangerous foes and powerful rewards. Inky Mail was increased to $9.99 less than a few weeks ago, but a number of discounts as seen the app steadily drop in price since then. The most recent sale has seen the feature-rich mail app go from 99 cents to free. Inky Mail helps you stay organized, reduce clutter and find your most important messages in your inbox. The app is free on the App Store while on sale.
