Modern Combat 5 Blackout (classes 001)

After going nearly a year after its initial announcement without talking about the title, Gameloft is finally starting to open up about Modern Combat 5: Blackout. We’ve learned a number of new details about the game over the past couple of weeks, and today we have an epic new E3 trailer to share…

The single player campaign in MC5 begins in Venice, Italy where Phoenix (the main character) is sent on a special operation to secure a transport of WMDs from a particularly well-armed terrorist group. But when things go wrong, he’ll have to travel the globe to convince his allies to help him fight.

But where MC5 is really going to stand out is multiplayer. Gameloft says the game will be made up of four main multiplayer modes: Capture The Flag, VIP, Free for All and Team Battle. There’s also a new Squad vs. Squad mode that will allow you to join squads with your friends to compete against others.

MC5 will bring competitive team battles to the next level, with persistent squads formed by players. You can join squads with your friends or any other player you meet online, then take your squad online against other squads from around the world. Strategy and team balancing will be key, and players within a squad will have their own dedicated squad chat to talk to each other and plan their tactics. There is also a global chat function which allows you to talk to anyone.

There’s no word on when Modern Combat 5: Blackout will be available, but Gameloft has started using the phrase ‘it’s coming soon.’ It’s expected to be one of the best-looking mobile game releases this year, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it. Hopefully we’ll learn more details at E3 next week.

Can someone suggest me how can I improve my iPhone 4s battery?
    It’s getting worse guys!
I haven’t played any game in this usage.. Only text messaging on whatsapp and viber and played boom beach for 10-15 min max

    • Anmol Malhotra

The next 8%.. Have only used viber with no app running in background -_-

      • Chris Coleman

Try this. Go to settings-general-accessibility, then switch on reduce motion. This should ease the strain off ram and save battery 🙂

      • Anmol Malhotra

Ok -_- Actually I love the animations 🙁
But I think I’ve no other way left -_-

      • Chris Coleman

I sadly had to do the same thing with my old 4s 🙁 you could try turning off background refresh on apps also. Hope this helps

      • Anmol Malhotra

        which device you own now?
And did you had the same usage as mine on 4s? I used to thought that there’s some battery problem as on iOS 6 it managed to cross above 5 hrs 30 min with my same usage.. Sometimes more than 7… -_- I miss those days..

      • Chris Coleman

I’m using the 5s now, which almost gives me a full day battery with minimal usage. I think any device below the 5s or ipad air struggle with ios 7 due to the fact it was designed to run on the A7, I think my 4s died within 3-4hours after installing ios7 🙁 so I turned off the fancy animations and most background processes which I found helped a lot. Are you on 7.1.1?

      • Anmol Malhotra

Yeah I’m on 7.1.1 and all the animations were on till you suggested them to turn off.. They are off now.. & background app refresh too
I really cant play real racing 3 , fifa 14… They drain the battery like hell.!!
Can you post a pic for your usage?

      • Chris Coleman

My usage won’t be accurate at the moment as the phones been on and off charge whilst my son plays games, watches videos etc. if I get chance later today I’ll post one.

      • Anmol Malhotra

        Ok thanks 🙂

Backup your photos without using the default “backup” option in iTunes. Then restore in iTunes and setup as a new iPhone instead of restoring from backup. Then turn off Auto app refresh. Turn on increase contrast. Do not turn on AssistiveTouch.

      • Anmol Malhotra

AssistiveTouch affects the battery?? :O :O
I’m using it for past 9-10 months -_-

      • Way to be off topic

      • Anmol Malhotra

How long have you had your 4S? Your battery only has a limited lifespan 1-2 years but even after the first year you’ll only get around 80% of when it was new

  • MediaVantage .

That link should probably help someone out. Cheers

    • Anmol Malhotra

My brightness is always around 20-25% when I’m at home
I just turned off the animations
Background App refresh is turned off too for all apps
      I’ve stopped fetch new data
Dont have facebook app. I think its the worst app on AppStore
Whats the last point? You mean to turn off location services? in Privacy settings?
Btw, thanks for your few advices. 🙂
