Which one will you be getting?

  • Markus Hudobnik

iPad Air! Still deciding between black or white

  • Chris Holden

    128 GB black iPad Air:)

  • Rom3

I’m very excited for the new iPads I’m curious to know why the iPad 2 is still in the line up?

    • Mike Colacone Saal

my guess is that there was absolutely no way that they would put the ipad 4, retina at 399 when thats the price point of the ipad mini with retina. it would destroy mini sales.

    • Joey

Because it’s cheap to make and will still make it affordable for others. Plus Im sure they are making a killing off of it well.

    • Mohammed Sahib

Schools are still buying the iPad 2 + what @mikecolaconesaal:disqus said.

  • soojungs

so is the iPad 4 discontinued like iPad 3?

    • Joey

      yup

  • Joey

Really like the new iPad Air but very disappointed that they would introduce Touch ID to the new iPhone 5S only to announce a new iPad even later without such a great feature.

  • Quang

    iPad Air!!!!!

  • Taf Khan

iPad mini retina for me, I will go for a smaller screen but up the storage for the lower price paid..

  • Attom

    iPad Air! 16GB 🙂
I would of done the ipad mini retina, but i was hoping for the same 329 price tag

    • Markus Hudobnik

Same here. Might as well pay $100 more to get the Air

      • Attom

Yes I agree, the retina mini was close but that was when i assumed the price was 329. the $399 price tag made my decision easy 🙂

  • Vince Reedy

Beware, this feels like we’re being duped into buying the iPad air with an iPad pro on the horizon. Can’t think why they would go with the air name without a pro being available in the near future, maybe March? OSX Touch?

    • Richard Gomez

I agree, i am not sure myself of which ipad i would like the ipad air is enticing to get but i prefer to get the mini and bump it up to 32gb and it will be the same price as the air only difference is size and weight

    • Richard Gomez

There will most likely be a pro version with a modified chip, fingerprint scanner, and something else

      • HD

the pro version (if any) will be a lot more expensive so I don’t care lol

    • Mohammed Sahib

Exactly! This is what first came to my min when I saw the new name, but I think the ‘pro’ version will be the rumored larger iPad (12.9″ or something) that may be aimed at professionals.

  • J M

The iPad 2 still priced at $399 is ridiculous.

  • Balduin Berger

    iPad Air white 64 GB

  • batongxue

Why keep iPad 2 when it is almost impossible to handle iOS 7?
So this means iOS 7 should be optimized much better for iPad?

    • Mr Mop

Based on my experiences, iOS 7 doesn’t lag that much on iPad 2.

      • batongxue

Wow, that’s really comforting to hear. Because I’m even sodissatisfied my iPad 3 on iOS 7 like everybody else.

  • No preorder for the iPad Air ? 🙁

  • G Mohal

Still selling the iPad 2 for $399??? They just love to rob consumers blindly over at Cupertino.

  • JulianZH

    No money.

  • sn1p3r

Apple is the only manufacter offering 128gb of storage in a tablet!

  • נריה בן-דוד

@IDB can you upload the iPad Air and iPad Mini with retina display wallpapers?

  • Solo

I spoke to an Apple rep right now and she/he said that they’ve been informed that both iPads (Mini and Air) will be available for ordering on 1st November, despite the “Later in November” statement for the iPad Mini. The rep seemed very sure about it and told me that, thats what they’ve been told
