If you’re looking for a subtle way to imitate some of the features of iOS 7 on your lesser firmware, then CopyDock is a new jailbreak tweak you might want to try. CopyDock brings an iOS 7 inspired dock to iOS 6 devices with no options or settings to configure.

CopyDock isn’t a perfect 1:1 match of the dock found in iOS 7, but it’s close. Have a look at our brief video inside to see what I mean.

Even the developer acknowledges in the Cydia release notes that the tweak isn’t an exact replica of iOS 7’s dock. Depending on how you look at it, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

CopyDock is available for free on Cydia’s BigBoss repo. If you’ve taken it for a spin already, or you’re considering it, be sure to drop us a line with your thoughts below.

I’ve been using Infinitidock. When i install this tweak, it doesn’t change anything. Do you think it is because of Infitidock?

      Evet, kesinlikle! 😀

I use live wallpapers, and copydock disappears when the wallpaper is on. So it could be the tweak in your case.

      • Erhan Efe

        I think so.

      I have the same problem

Here is my solution for those who is having problem with Infinidock tweak. Before you install CopyDock tweak, go settings > Infinidock and change Icons per Page as 4. Now you install CopyDock and respring. Go settings again change Icons per Page as you wish. It worked for me.

You should have used the same wallpaper across both devices so that it could truly depict the tweak ability to fade in with the background if that’s even an option.
Funny since we used to have a similar dock in the early ages of iOS… now it’s sort of back (this one is way better, of course).

“now it’s sort of back (this one is way better, of course).” hahahha i see what you did there

      • Diego Gastón Milano

I’m not sure in following you. 🙂

  • Ew…

    • FOFF

yup its just a white rectangle with 50% transparency.. ive calls it “simple flat brilliant design”

      • Jony Ive

Technically it’s a rectangle with blur transparency, to make it look like a blurry window or something

  • FOFF

lol the cydia tweak version still looks better that n the ios7 one.. but i like to have no dock image at all.

    • Jem Roxas

Use springtomize 2 to hide the dock image. 🙂

  • fayaz

    ios 7 onthe way

  • marco v berlo

You can also download ios 7
dock theme from cydia looks great with the ios 7 theme from modmyi. If you installed activedock this theme won’t work

  • ConduciveMammal

I don’t get why this is a tweak instead of a theme

  • benz_85

It’d be good if you could turn it on n off like activedock, cuz basically this is just the ”WallpaperGradientPortraitBottom@2x~iphone” file

  • TeChNoStyLeZ

    Looks good

  • Gustavo Adolfo Mirabal

Good riddance to all those “iOS 7 inspired apps” next week. LOL

  • Jojo17abante
