Facebook updates Pages Manager app with photo filters, stickers and more

facebook pages manager 2

Facebook rolled out its Pages Manager app about this time last year as a way to help users—you guessed it—manage their Facebook Pages. These are essentially profiles for businesses, schools and other organizations that want a presence on the social network.

Anyway, users will be happy to hear that the app received a fairly significant update last night, bringing it to version 2.0. Facebook says that it has completely rebuilt the app for better performance, and it’s added support for photo filters, stickers and more…

Here’s the full change log for Facebook Pages Manager 2.0:

We’ve rebuilt the app so it’s faster and easier to use.
• Scrolling through Page timeline is faster than ever
• Photos open fast and close with one downward swipe
• Posting photos with filters and auto-enhancement option
• Send emoji and stickers in messages

Pages Manager is just the latest iOS app in Facebook’s stable to be updated with support for its popular messaging stickers. It first showed off the feature last month when it introduced Facebook Home, and has since added it to its Facebook and Messenger apps.

The new photo options are also welcome additions to the app. Previously, Page admins were only able to use the app to take a photo or import one from their camera roll. But thanks to the update, they can now add filters to their pics and perform other touchups in-app.

Of course, you’ll have to have a Pages account for it to be of any use to you. But if you’re interested in checking out Facebook’s new Pages Manager app, you can find it in the App Store, for both the iPhone and iPad, for free.
