If you’re looking for bargain deals on iPhone and iPad games ahead of Easter, the Japanese games maker Capcom has you covered. The company has reduced some of its popular iOS titles down to the 99-cent price point, including several installments in its Street Fighter series and Mega Man X, a nice arcade-quality action platformer with crisp Retina graphics.

Capcom does not specify when the promotion will end so best thing you act now if you’re a fan of these games…

Your download links:

Mega Man X for iPhone/iPad – $0.99, down from $4.99
Street Fighter X Tekken Mobile for iPhone/iPad- $0.99, down from $2.99
Street Fighter IV Volt for iPhone- $0.99, down from $4.99

Capcom also has a bunch of iOS games on the App Store – they’re perhaps best-known for the Resident Evil series. If you’re looking for another 99-cent title, consider Ghosts’n Goblins Gold Knights II.

The screenie top of post is from Street Fighter X Tekken Mobile which, as the name suggests, borrows characters from the Tekken world, namely the famous Heihachi.

they should optimize their games for new screens..

Probably to be seen after the price drops. Abandon the current games and go on to develop new iterations to charge users again.

What about a retina version of Marvel vs Capcom, the original is a classic. 5the iPhone version rather poor, even more so when played on the iPad.

Well, i cant see how that game is even playable on a touch screen? How do you do ROM loops or tri-dashes with Magneto on a touch screen? The game is so fast and so execution heavy. I dont even know how they even thought it was a good idea to bring it to the platform (besides monies, duh). Idk, i think the moral of my story is: what do you want from a mobile port of MvC2?
