AquaBoard brings water inspired effects to the Home screen and Lock screen

AquaBoard is a new tweak that allows you to add water effects to your iPad or iPhone. The effects can take place on your Home screen or Lock screen, or can be relegated to just one of the two.

Included with AquaBoard are numerous animations, tweaks, and settings to fully customize the effect to your liking. It looks good on the iPhone, but as you’ll see in our video walkthrough, it looks really good on the iPad…

AquaBoard is developed by the same person that developed CallBar, so you know it’s from developer that values quality. While this tweak isn’t going to enhance the user experience on your device, its subtle, or even not-so-subtle water effects might produce a calming effect within you. If your life is filled with day-to-day hectic activity, then that in itself might make the $2.99 asking price worth it.

      Looks exactly like my unlock screen on my Android tablet. I think that’s been an Android effect for some time now. But it’s nice to see it come over to the iPhone. Not sure I would spend $3 on it. I already have so many tweaks going that my 4S is starting to show some lag.

      This a tweak by a third party developer. Not that Apple is ripping of this from S3 like Samsung does

    nice tweak but it has bugs… when you make or receive a phone call the animation will stop and not restart .. sam happens when you use SBsettings

    Drains the ram and processor. My ram dropped from 200 mb to 150 just because of this one tweak.

    However, it is awesome.

    I love the tweak but it stops working after a while and I have to reset it. I’m using an iPhone 4 and the tweak is set to 20fps by the way.

      when it stopped working on my ipad i simply opened any app (setting app) and then the tweak turned on by itself.

        yeah thats why i removed the tweak after i realized it happens too often. Too buggy, and eats your ram and processor.

    I’ve got iPad 2 on 5.1.1, works fine for the lockscreen but it restarts in safe mode when I unlock. Too bad, looked nice.

    A new update came out that was supposed to fix the random stopping of the effect, but it still randomly stops. A lot of people on twitter have already told the developer.
