Still haven’t seen the iPhone 5 Keynote? Strapped for time? We took the liberty to cut out all of the fluff, and other non-iPhone 5 hardware announcements from yesterday’s keynote. By doing so, we were able to cut it down to just a hair over 4 minutes, while still maintaining the vast majority of the important hardware details.

If you haven’t yet seen the keynote, and you’re solely interested in the iPhone 5 hardware, then this is for you.

  • is it really the thinnest smartphone?

    • looks pretty damn thin to me. Try googling specs for other phones, at least ones that matter, like Galaxy S III, Lumia, HTC ect. Let us know what you find 😛

    hi
    guys
anyone can tell me why they called iphone 5?
why not iphone 6? because they didn’t miss 5?
    isn’t 6th generation of iphone?
    sorry for my English

    • Why did they call the 5th generation iPhone the iPhone 4S? Only makes sense. Consumers would be confused if they skipped to the 6th gen, “hey what happened to the 5th?” This only makes sense to me. I am surprised they did not call it “The New iPhone.”

People have been waiting for the “iPhone 5” since 2010, so they named it something people were expecting. Simple, its all about publicity.

    • People please understand, the Iphone 4S was NOT a 5th generation phone. it was just a souped up 4th generation phone, as the 3GS was a souped up 3rd generation phone. just because they release a phone every year does not mean its a generational phone. get it?
