MiniBanners is a new jailbreak tweak that allows you to shrink your banners into miniaturized versions. To accomplish this feat, the contents of the banners are removed, leaving only the app icon, the name of the app pushing the banner, and the number of notifications received.

Along with this, MiniBanners retains all of the functionality of a normal sized banner. Check out our video walkthrough inside.

MiniBanners features no settings, just install it and go. True, it’s not going to add any additional functionality to your device, but it’s an interesting diversion if you’re tired of looking at the stock banner notifications on your iPhone.

If you want to try it out, you can download MiniBanners for free on Cydia’s ModMyi repo. Let me know what you think about it in the comment section below.

Settings are coming in the next update, I think 🙂

  • Would be nice if the banner was centered. Or at least an option made available to move the banner where you want. I do like the fact that it doesn’t cover the entire top of the screen though.

  • “normal” notification banners also have the “slide down to reveal NC” option, so yeah…
