SliderWidth is a jailbreak tweak that does exactly what its name states — allows you to adjust the width of your iDevice’s “Slide to Unlock” bar.

But that’s not the only trick in this tweak’s bag; it also allows you to use custom slider text, remove the Lock camera button or photo frame button, along with being compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Take a look at our video walkthrough for more information…

SliderWidth is nothing groundbreaking, but with the right settings combo, I found it to be fairly pleasing to the eyes.

Head over to Cydia’s ModMyi repo if you’re interested in taking this free jailbreak tweak for a test drive.

What do you think?

  • i think it would be awesome on ipad to have the whole bar as a slider

    • It’s enough how it is.

      • i dunno.. id have a lot of fun with a full width slider bad. its the little things 😛

    • The same dev made a free tweak a few weeks back – Longer Slider for iPad or something – that makes it much larger (not the full width of the screen though).

I don’t need this silly app. I have no Lock Screen at all. Love it!

    • Agreed. It’s pretty funny how people want all these shortcuts to their app on the lockscreen when they can just disable the lockscreen and get to the homescreen.

  • hey man now i cant see my slider!! can u help with that please :S

    • Yah, i enabled the tweak and left the slider on zero then locked my ipod and unlocked it to see my slider has appeared and i can’t unlock it.
I’m gonna wait until i recieve an iMessage or a facebook notification to unlock it using that app icon, i guess this will work.
