J.D. Power ranks Apple as highest in smartphone customer satisfaction

Over the past few months, Apple has been exploding not only on the stock market, but also in record sales. Apple’s latest phone offering, the iPhone 4S, saw record sales last quarter, putting Apple in the spot as top smartphone manufacturer. It’s apparent customers love Apple products.

With no surprise, J.D. Power and Associates has ranked Apple as the company highest in smartphone customer satisfaction. This is Apple’s seventh consecutive time winning the award…

For a seventh consecutive time, Apple ranks highest among manufacturers of smartphones in customer satisfaction. Apple achieves a score of 839 on a 1,000-point scale and performs well in all factors, particularly in ease of operation and features.

J.D. Power scored companies on a 1,000-points scale, testing smartphones in areas like battery and ease-of-use. Apple achieved a solid score of 839, out of 1,000. The firm found the iPhone to be best in ease-of-use. HTC and Samsung followed.

Using an Android phone compared to an iPhone, you’ll quickly notice how much easier the iPhone is to use for the mass market. Apple now implements easy setup with iOS 5, and the iPhone’s UI is still the sleekest out there.

Last September, J.D. Power awarded the same award to Apple, giving them a score of 838. This time around, Apple earned one point.

Seven times in a row is a very notable feat. Here’s to number eight!
