ActionSlider is the premium version of WeeCloseApps, and it includes many more actions to execute directly from Notification Center.

With WeeCloseApps all you could do was close and kill running and backgrounded apps, but with ActionSlider you can do things like invoke Siri, take a screenshot, open the App Switcher, and many more…

To accommodate all of the additional actions, the tweak features four separate slider bar positions when compared to WeeCloseApps’ two.

You will have to pony up $0.99 for ActionSlider, so you will have to take a look at the features offered and see whether or not the additional actions are worth it to you.

ActionSlider also features a “white list” to prevent specific apps from being affected by a kill or close action.

If you’re interested by what you see, ActionSlider can be purchased from Cydia’s BigBoss repo.

What do you think? Are the additional options worth the $0.99 asking price?

  • Can you do a video on your jailbroken iPhone configuration? E.g. which jailbreak tweaks you use the most and how they are configured? That would be awesome!

    Thanks Jeff!

  • this is totally a waist of time. dont like it at all and would never even think about adding to my 4s

  • How did you get a) the blurry background and b) the pages in your notifications?

  • What’s the point of closing backgrounded apps when iOS doesn’t support true multitasking? If iOS needs more memory it will close the last used app still loaded in memory automatically.
