I’ve already played around making some custom ones of my own (sports team logos, flags). Very easy to do. 40 px high (or 20 px for the low res). Although it’s better to leave a bit of a margin of space on top and bottom so it doesn’t go right to the edge. Width wise there’s lots of room to play with. Too wide though and it covers the signal and wifi bars.

    Jeff’s logo looks nicer..

It will look really better if the logo viewed from homescreen or lockscreen is made of only black and white colors, just like all those Apple logos!

Lol thanks for this and for showing us how to manually add them yesterday, which actually wasn’t a waste of time. it was just as helpful because it showed me how to delete the crappy logo’s that were bundled with the ones i wanted to keep :)

Can someone tell me what the correct color blue is for the logo? I am looking for the CMYK or the RGB value.

Well there’s a couple blues in the logo, not to mention shades and reflection.
But the blue in the upper left: RGB – 75-92-166
Blue in the lower left: RGB – 76-164-207

There’s a cool little free program out there called Color Cop. Gives you an eye dropper tool to sample any color on the screen. Gives you the RGB and Hex value.
