Drumroll please. After looking through your submissions for the iFixdirect iPhone repair giveaway, we have selected a winner.

And the winner is…

Daniel! (@_danieloh)

We saw poor Daniel’s shattered iPhone 4, and our hearts broke. Here’s what he had to say about his situation:

“To start out I’ve been a follower of the site for over a year now and when I saw this entry I was ecstatic! I had to wait a bit until I could find someone’s high quality camera to use to take the picture. My younger sister dropped my phone while she was using it a few weeks ago and now the front screen is pretty messed up. I could really use this free repair! I’m currently a college student and money is a bit hard to come by at the moment and this would really help out alot. Well, I figured it was worth a shot even though there are probably many many entrants. Thanks for listening!”

Congrats, Daniel! iDB and iFixdirect would like to fix your iPhone 4 for FREE! We’ll be emailing you shortly with the details.

If you didn’t win the giveaway, don’t be discouraged! We got dozens of excellent submissions, and there were many worthy candidates.

There’s a good chance that we’ll be doing something like this again, so stay tuned to iDB for more awesome giveaways in the future!

The iPhone 4 is way more easy to break that the iPod Touch. I got an iPod Touch 2nd gen and I’ve dropped it 1000 times and the Only thing that it’s got is a scratch. When I’m pissed and if I can’t just pass a level on a game I literally punch my iPod’s screen and it never gets broken or it never gets a scratch. On the iPhone 4 the beat thing to do if you give it to a small kid or even if you have it in your hands it can slip. So is always better to have a cover on and a screen protector
