Flipboard App to Add TV Shows, Movies, iPhone Version

If you've perused the App Store on the iPad, chances are you've come across Flipboard. When the app first came out, it's innovate approach to content and RSS received high praise. Now, many content consumption apps borrow the Flipboard mentality of presenting web content in a visually intriguing, magazine-like design.

Flipboard can only be used to read web sites as a glorified RSS reader. The team behind Flipboard has bigger plans for their app, including the addition of TV shows, movies, and a new iPhone app...

Trover Photo Discovery App Lets You See and Share Photos With People Around You

With the App Store flourishing with hundreds of thousands of apps, it sure is getting hard for developers to make their apps stand out. An app either has to receive a large amount of funding, or have plenty of style and just work well. Trover is the latter.

Trover is like a micro social network that allows you to take geotagged photos and share them with your friends/followers and the surrounding community. When you open the app you will see its great UI thrown together on the main screen. It uses your location and finds all the photos that were taken in your close proximity...

iTunes Match Beta Goes Live for Developers [Video Walkthrough]

Apple just sent out an email to developers signifying that iTunes Match is now available to developers.

For those more obscure songs that iTunes doesn't already have, you can still upload your music for streaming. As usual, we have a video of iTunes Match in action, so be sure to check inside to see how it works!

Why You Should Never Buy an iPad in a Parking Lot

The fact that Apple products are highly sought after and typically more expensive than similar electronics make them the perfect tool for scam artists. An Apple gadget offered at a significant discount is enough to make anyone oblivious to scandal.

That certainly seems to be the basis of an epidemic that has Grand Prairie police officers scratching their heads. The North-Texas city has seen over a dozen instances of a recurring scam involving fake Apple products...

Everyone's getting in on the instant messaging market these days. The likes of WhatsApp have been taking the App Store by storm, and Facebook has even joined the fray with Facebook Messenger. Despite only being available in the US store, the social giant has made its intentions clear.

Even Apple is all set to join the competition, with iMessage coming to iOS devices when iOS 5 launches some time in September. As if the flood gates have now been opened, another manufacturer is joining the instant messaging game, with Samsung trying its luck...

Apple Expected to Produce Another 17 Million iPhone 4s Next Quarter

We know, these rumors regarding Apple's upcoming iPhone announcement are getting out of control. Are there going to be two different smartphone models, or just one as usual? Will it resemble its predecessor, or feature an all new design?

Another question is that if there is a low-end smartphone introduced, what will it look like? We've heard a lot of scenarios, but at this point a retooled iPhone 4 seems the most likely. GigaOM lends support to this theory, relaying a report from Apple's supply chain...
