Firemint’s Spy Mouse Gets its First Gameplay Trailer

Firemint, the team behind such iOS blockbuster titles as Real Racing and Flight Control, has recently been bought by Electronic Arts. They have released the first ever gameplay trailer of its upcoming title: Spy Mouse.

The trailer shows Spy Mouse himself, Agent Squeak, traversing obstacles and risking life and limb, all under your control. Featuring 72 levels, spread across 6 worlds, Spy Mouse promises to have enough depth to keep us all coming back for more…

“…will launch in 2011 and deliver Firemint’s trademark quality, polish and addictive gameplay in a brand new, spy-inspired tale of intrigue, stealth and misplaced cheese!

Play as Agent Squeek, the dashing and debonair undercover mouse. Outsmart ferocious felines and crack fiendish challenges! Sneak, sprint and strategize in your quest to save every precious piece of missing cheese.”

Firemint’s previous games have proven extremely popular amongst iOS and Mac gamers alike, with Real Racing HD being particularly well received thanks to its innovative AirPlay mode which allows the game to be played on a big screen TV. Meanwhile, the iPad is used as a controller.

No word yet on when Spy Mouse will be available, other than the rather vague 2011 window. Hopefully we won’t have too long to wait before we can get our hands on Agent Squeak!
