Ever wished you could delete individual phone calls from your call logs on your iPhone? If so, Call Delete is the app for you. Up until now, you could only delete none or all of the missed or placed phone calls from your iPhone, but Call Delete is going to change that by giving you a little more freedom.

Just like you would guess, Call Delete lets you delete specific phone calls from your iPhone logs. If you recently called your ex and you don’t want your new girlfriend to find out, this is going to do the trick…

After installing the app, you will get an “Edit” button, which when hit will let you delete calls from your log. Not a groundbreaking application but I’m sure some of you will find it useful.

Call Delete doesn’t add any icon to your springboard, but it does allow you to configure the options from the Settings application.

You can get Call Delete from the BigBoss repo for $1.29. What do you think?

There’s been an app called RecentDelete I’ve been using for years and it basically does the same. U can swipe left and hit delete and it’s a gone pecan (pee-cawn)…rhymes…um anyways yeah nice to kno there’s options now but for now I’ll keep RecentDelete as my JB call remove app..not that inreally use it often as is

    • soccerkrzy

RecentDelete is cleaner than this too because you can hide the “Edit” button and just do swipe to delete. Much more stealthy that way too :).

    • juan

i can not find a app to delete recent calls, for iphone 4.3.3, omg help plz

  • Jorge

Totally agree, this is nothing new, Recentdelete has been for years and it is free!!

    • Matt

    • soccerkrzy

I had paid $0.99 for it a couple years ago, is it free now?

    • juan

how can i find the app and were, a little help plz. por favor.

  • Burge

Don’t need to say a thing ..first 2 post say it for me…

  • soccerkrzy

Stop posting based off recent changes…give recentdelete it’s credit for being around for years.

  • Listen guys, we try to post about every new jailbreak app here. I know that sometimes a similar app already exists, but that’s not the point. The point is to shed light on some new apps, and usually, new developers.

    • James

Yeah! I for one like options! Please keep posting fresh apps!

      • QuarterSwede

No offense but most pro tech blogs write a blurb about an older similar offering(s) which keeps posts like that at bay. It also helps to reference what’s already out there if there’s an issue with the new app.

    • Cameron

Why do y’all complain so damn much. It’s obvious he works hard at this blog and it’s impossible to post about every damn tweak ever invented.

You do a great job and I’m loving your blog.

      • Thanks, dude. A little recognition goes a long way 🙂
        Much appreciated!

    • SoCoMagNuM

I was just posting my opinion. Not taking credit from you nor the developer. That’s why I noted that “it’s nice to know there’s options” in my original post. Never said it was a bad thing just noted the tweak that I currently use. I’m not like the others trying to belittle your blog or say that this blog post was irrelevent. You give us the heads up on your findings on your blog…to my knowledge…you have that right. So keep up all that you and your buddies do and being on the latest. Thats why I read this blog.

      • Thanks. I don’t think my comment was directed to you, so no worries.

  • John

    Word Seb!

  • Me

I have been using Call Delete for many time so this app is not new, delete the post please

  • Alvaro

Where can you find RecentDelete? Repo please!

  • ScrewZoo

I installed both individually and both do not work. I’m on iPhone 4, 4.2.1

  • Painman

Installing Call Delete on iPhone 4 on 4.3.3 makes the phone app take between 10 and 15 seconds to load.far too long for the minimum use that it would give me. I’ll try again when it’s had an upgrade or 2.

  • Kingpin

Keep the fresh tweaks coming bro. Don’t listen to the haters, I visit this blog multiple times on a daily basis. It’s one of the best around. Keep it up!

  • heredago

I also have recentdelete, not that i use it often, but its a good thing to have just in case

seb, i hope (and i know) that you dont take these trolls seriously, anyway, im prettu sure you know your work is appreciated when you look at your page views vs the minority of haters/troll commenting

  • SpideyRules

So looking at both of these tweaks right now, RecentDelete runs $1.49 and Call Delete (reason for the article) is free. Am I backwards or something?

  • SpideyRules

    Nevermind…I was tricked! UGH!

You can download / install for free, but the next time you go into your phone app, it asks you to activate or buy now.

    I hate crap like that…Everyone be warned…

  • IndiePhoenix

There’s also on Cydya a nice free app called AddCallHistory. With it besides being able to delete from your call history you can also add calls to that list! 🙂

    • fookable

thanx man!! this is free and it totally works!!! u r the man!!!!

  • XepptizZ

I love this blog, but agree that showing the alternatives and giving a comparison is a definite plus.

  • Fady T

Guys what about CallClear? In my opinion it defeats both apps. I am using it long time ago and it has the most needed option for me (Delete all calls from this number).
In addition of swiping to delete a call from within the call history, you can open the App itself and delete an entry and all similar entries in one go. That’s quiet useful when you want to wipe several similar entries instead of deleting them one by one.

Has anybody been able to get any of them to work on 4.3.3 besides mobile call log. All of the ones that integrate with the iPhone call log will not work. Mobile Call Log will let u delete the history through its app only, I mean it works but its annoying having to open the app each time really sucks. Someone needs to look into that ASAP!!! RecentCall/Delete was my old faithful but for some reason on a jailbroken 4.3.3 it doesn’t work. Just like winterboard & mobile substrate had to be tricked or hacked maybe these apps need something tweaked or hacked to work on 4.3.3. Please someone let me know if they have it actively working on there iPhone.

  • Petroz

Recent CallLog Delete is a wonderful application on Cydia.
This tweak allows you to remove one by one calls in your recent call list.. So feel free to use it.. It is a convenient tool to get purpose.
Try it as an alternative.. Link is given below

  • there it seems to be no such a tweak to work on ios 4.3.3.
if anyone get solve it, please post

  • Fady T

Callclear works on all iOS versions, even iOS 5. And now it has the option to automatically clear any predefined number from the history. $3.99 from cydia with free trial.
