Giveaway: 4 OtterBox Defender Cases for iPhone to Win

Yesterday we published a short review of the OtterBox Defender Series Case for iPhone 4, which we consider to be one of the best “heavy duty” cases for iPhone. It seems that our review got the attention of the fine folks at OtterBox who decided to giveaway 4 of those cases to iPhone Download Blog readers.

Because iDB is an equal opportunity blog, we’re going to put up a contest where anyone will have a chance to win. As usual, the rules of the contest are pretty simple…

In order to enter to win one of these 4 Defender cases, simply leave a comment below and tell us why we should pick you. The comment can be witty, geeky, or anything you want. Just try to be creative.

This contest is opened to anyone who owns an iPhone 4. Because the Defender is a universal case, it can fit both GSM and CDMA iPhone 4 models, so if you have a Verizon iPhone, you’re invited to participate too.

We’ll announce the winners next Tuesday, and we will contact them by email.

    Hello, I believe I should win this case because…..as the father of 4 young otter’s it has always been hard to find a decent home, this case would solve all our problems. an otter box for us all to live in. And hey would defend us from those nasty eels too.

    My reason isn’t geeky or nerdy. My six year old daughter uses her Iphone 4 as an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device. Currently we have a rubber case to protect it since no local stores carry the Otterbox. I have the Otterbox on my 3GS* and would have her use it, but the IPhone 4 runs Proloquo2go so much quicker.

    *And in the almost 2 years of using it, it has been dropped, hit by water, thrown in frustration and the phone is still spotless and perfect working order.

    Well I do not want to play the pity card (if I do win I hope it is not because of this), I just lost/got robbed my iPhone 4, the saddest day of my life (no joke), now i had to reorder another one [500 dollars gone down the drain (done though a friend, that's why it wasn't 750)]. So in short, i would love this case so i can protect the masterpiece I will receive soon xD.

    lol already have one, but be forewarned! It does make the phone feel a lotttt larger, and it will have problems fitting into smaller pockets.

    I’d have felt guilty not warning someone. Enjoy’s ya’lls free Otterboxes!

    I hope to get one of the Otterbox cases because of what happened when I tried ordering one. I recieved an email from a Nigerian prince that said he had the cases for sale and all I needed to do was send him $5 and my phone and he would kindly put the case on it and ship it back. I figured it was a great deal so I rushed to the post office and shipped it right out. 3 months later I still haven’t received my case or phone. I really dont understand. So for the time being I went out and bought a new iPhone 4 until the other one gets sent back. I am crossing my fingers that it gets here soon, but in case it doesn’t, I would love to have a good case for the new one. I guess I learned my lesson about sending stuff to Nigeria from suspected spam emails! You win some, you lose some I guess.

    I think I deserve wining a case because I am a big fan of IDB, I’ve been with you on a lot good moments in the blog’s life. Sebastien I get all happy every time you unpack your IPhones, I remember the video when you unpacked your IPhone 4, my wife and me were as happy as you just to see how exited you were, we watch that video a couple of times.

    I would love to win the otterbox. My daughter and son are constantly grabbing my phone and my daughter now knows how to use it. Scares me with no real protection besides the apple bumper case. I’d love to have more protection on my phone from myself and my kids.

    I should win because I am the owner of an otter box that picks up girls for me at the club. This swear, i was moving to the beat and a girl comes up to me and says,”hey you have an otterbox!? Wow!” and right after that we got a few drinks, talked about other things and got her number. (We’re hanging out this Thursday). So yea, there’s my story.
