GreenPois0n Download

After a bit of a shaky start, the Chronic Dev Team has finally released the much anticipated greenpois0n jailbreak, and it’s available for download now. Much like the already released limera1n, this jailbreak allows you to jailbreak iPhone running iOS 4.1 and iOS 4.2.1.

The GreenPois0n download is now available for both Windows and Mac, and a Linux version might be in the works. GreenPois0n will allow you to jailbreak the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad, iPod Touch 3G, and iPod Touch 4G.

      There is no difference just different tools for each OS. Both of them do exactly the same thing and have the same bugs…lol

    What’s the difference? I’m already jailbroken 4.1 on iPhone 4 with limera1n. Is there any reason I should run greenpo1son? Is it more stable or just exactly the same?

    Going to give this a try on my 3GS tonight after work. Need to get my laptop all set up again since my drive blew and had to reinstall windows on a new one. Funny thing is I really have no need for a laptop since I got my iPhone so it hasn’t been a priority till now.

    Just updated to 4.1 using tiny umbrella preserving baseband 1.59.00. About to jailbreak using greenpoison. Just confirm pls if i use greenpoison then i can use ultrasnow to unlock. Thanks

    Can anyone help, I have iPhone 4 on 4.1(8B117) and Firmware 02.10.04, i’m looking to jailbreak but don’t know how to but also I need to know that if I try to JB will it work properly and not harm or mess anything up in/on my phone?
    What should I use to JB or do I wait for something else to come out?

    Is there a list of 4.1 compatible jailbreak apps available. I’m already jailbroken on 4.01 with like 100 packages and I can’t live without a few. If the apps won’t work on 4.1 I’ll stand pat a while until they are compatible.

      Check recent changes for your most important apps, if they have been updated to work with 4.1, it should tell

    awww, green poison has lost its spotlight, no cares bout there really really long release of jb, coz err’one already done it with the so cold ego hots, limera1n! cry babies!

      Luke, there are some people like myself, who are still on 4.01, don’t care about game center, and waiting for JB apps to be updated to work with 4.1.

      By then there should be no bugs/glitches in either of the JBs. Also I need to preserve my baseband, which if I understood correctly, limerain does not preserve. And I don’t know when or if an unlock is available for 4.1 in near future.

    damn! no love on the 3G? i’ve been having problems trying to JB mine. it just gets frozen on redsn0w. so here i am running stock software on a 3g….help =(

      Jailbreak is not a unlock …limera1n or GP will not unlock a iPhone …

    Have not had any problems jailbreaking for past OS updates on my 3G. But I’ve tried both limera1n and Greenpois0n and neither has worked to jailbreak my iPhone 3G so far. I’ve restored several times and am ready to give up. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

    question-just jailbreaked my 4.1 iphone4 with greenpoison; will i have to reset/restore/UNjailbreak my phone if i want to install 4.2 or any other future os updates? i’m a little confused about this “bootrom exploit”. what does it mean “jailbreak for life”?

    OK, so I restored my phone to erase my limra1n jailbreake to see what greenp0ison is all about. But when I follow the instructions to the t, it says unable to jailbreak. And now when I try to jailbreak with lime it says its jailbroken but I dont have a limera1n icon. My software is 4.1 as it was before so Im at a loss… Any one else have this happen, and if so how do I get my jailbreak back???!!!

    Guys, if you have a ipod touch 2g MC/MB, use greenpois0n, limera1n gives your 2g bad bugs. it slows and closes most apps when u use them. i tried gpoison and it works fine, no lagg, cydias fast, all the best. limerain basicly ****** my ipod so i restored..

    I have tried to jail brake my 3GS with 4.1 software several times with greenp01son always with an ‘unable to jailbreak ;(‘ ending…. restored my phone as a new phone even, same result. However, I have been able to jailbreak with limera1n every single time with no problems what so ever. And the operation of cydia and winterboard has been fine since the first time I jailbroke. Must say kinda disapointed, little bit of a pain for it just not to work time and time again >:|

    **So Ive tried to jailbreak with grenpois0n and everything goes well, but when the green bar finishes after clicking ‘jailbreak’ It says unable to jail break start over to try again… So Ive just gone back to Limera1n… Has any one else had this problem and do you know how to correct it. Also, are there any differences between Limera1n and greenpois0n
