There’s been quite a few interesting jailbreak mods lately. MultiMusicInfo is another one of those simple, yet very nice jailbreak tweaks for iPhone. MultiMusicInfo shows you the information of the song that’s playing on your iPod app in the “now playing” bar of the app switcher.

It adds the artist name, the album and the title of the song that’s playing. It even replaces the iPod icon with the album cover if available. Tapping the album cover will still behave like the iPod icon and take you to the iPod app.

Available in Cydia for $0.99, MultiMusicInfo requires iOS 4.0+ and enabled multitasking capability. It can be configured in the Settings app.

Pretty cool, huh? What do you think?

I will reserve judgement until I see what Burge thinks.

i like the background image… where can i get it from ????

  • Rick

Does this work with five-column springboard?

  • Angi

    I dig it!

  • Burge

Ofcause this doesn’t work with multiflow if you got double tap on home button. And when I turn of mutlitflow and try and use this my phone freezes up. But it does work with switcher plus. It might be I got to much stuff on my phone that has got stuff to to with the app switcher. And that is why it freezes ? But it’s a nice tweak 

    • Burge

The other thing is I carnt use the app switcher and I have to use multiflow, because I use a tweak called simple background ( scrolling wallpaper ) that doesn’t like the native app switcher

      • Burge

Correction it’s working now. I must of done something ?

  • Alex

what is this theme? it looks awsome!

  • I don’t know about the theme. I used the screenshot that was provided with the app description. Go to Cydia, look fot this app and get in touch with the developer.

can i use this to my ipod touch ios4??

  • Mandingo

I’m sorry but I hate apps that don’t offer a trial period. As far as I’m concerned they’re asking for their apps to be cracked.

  • Greytone

I’m having trouble figuring out how to get the iPod controls to come up instead of the background apps. I’m not using any extras like multiflow or switcher. Can anyone give me any pointers on this?

  • Greytone

Nevermind. Figured out you have to swipe left to right in the tray now.

This app may cause you to crash to safe mode when you try to watch youtube or quicktime videos.
