This antenna issue will never die, will it? Just when you thought it was fading away, the news get revived, especially due to the firing of Apple’s chief of iPhone hardware.

A WSJ article revealed today that Steve Jobs knew about the iPhone 4 antenna weaknesses over a year ago.

It was Mr. Jobs, rather than Mr. Papermaster, who decided to move forward with the development of the phone even though the company was aware of the risks of the antenna design as much as a year ago, according to people familiar with the matter.

Why in hell would Steve Jobs force a product out if  he isn’t sure of its performances? Apple clearly prioritized physical design over performances. Why?

Because Steve is a flaming fruit, who takes vacations with money from people like you and I, fucking them not only with the price, but also with the device.

    • Austin

And also takes advantage of his customers

    Really

  • KinGz

Why do people bitch about the iphone so much? If you dont like it. Return it and get your refund. Grow some balls and seriously man up!

  • KinGz

The only people who bitch about the iphone are either haters or broke ass people who cant afford one.

  • Alan

The only complainers are the people who don’t have an iPhone!
The benefits of the iPhone far, far outweigh the negatives!

  • kirk

I find this hard to believe. They knew that a huge issue like this existed FOR A YEAR and decided “we will risk PR suicide and not try to fix it.” No company is that stupid, much less Apple.

Not if they already invested millions of dollars into antenna R&D, then it was too late to back down. Steve has amazing marketing techniques, but he is wrong about one thing. There are intelligent and reasonable people that can see right through his bs.

      @KinGz
Dude, I don’t need to grow no balls, they were there by nature. Though I find it pointless to try and explain something to an ammature, whose balls haven’t even dropped yet, I never bought an iPhone 4, and never will. I’m happy with my 3GS.
But where the hell did you see me complaining?
Here is an advice for you, pull your head out of your ass, put on some glasses, and read the articles. Comment on the article, and not on someones posts to save yourself some embarrassment.

@Alan I agree with the fact that there are more benefits to the phone than disadvantages, but my point all along was – today it’s the phone with an antenna flaws, which apple refused to lower the price for, and tomorrow you’ll be buying a car for the full price with flat tires, or even a house with a roof or a door.
And that’s where the debate will start: “but the car has a built in GPS and a DVD player!” The hell do I need a gps or a DVD player in the car with flat tires for? “But the car has seat warmers

…and is all leather interior!” do you get my point?

As for me, it’s an insult to my intelligence to buy a phone that is of a beautiful design (which your favorite steve jobs is so obsessed with) and receive a free case to do what? HIDE THE BEAUTY of the so perfectly designed phone! That’s what steve jobs is doing, and everyone has fallen for it. Once again – great marketing job, Jobs!

@Sebastien Hey bud, couldn’t find a way to remove the duplicated post – something weird happened there.

And I meant to say ‘a house withOUT a roof or a door’

  • Sy cook

I got mine on release day and never had an issue?

  • Goofygreek

I never really have an issue with my iphone4. Signal is exactly the same as my 3GS. It hasn’t even dropped that many calls. Service where I live is pretty good, except for in my house and a few friends houses, but my 3GS was exactlly the same way. And I always use a headset with my phone so I never have to hold it, so for me, It’s perfect. Oh and the free case is a plus, even though I probably wont use it. Lol

  • thefallen

Hahaha looks like @KinGz is a loyal follower of this blog… grow some balls kid lmao

  • KinGz

@z. Stay with ur 3g coz u cant afford the iphone 4

    • Z

Dude, you should really put some glasses on. It’s 3 G S! And you honestly think I can afford an unlimited data plan at 65$/month, and I can’t afford some 200$ – 300$ for an upgrade? Come on! At least be reasonable and logical in your comments.

  • Lala

Z, kingz obviously wasnt directing his first 2 comments at you. It was directed towards the people who complained. But you seem to include yourself into his comments. Your the one who’s blind.

    • Z

Thank you Lala for your input. As you can see on my little Avatar here, I do wear glasses =)

And I’m sure @KinGz appreciates you standing up for him =)
