Is some kind of head mounted display or visor that you could plug into an iphone, ipad etc that might help visually impaired people? Would that sort of thing work?

@Frag – Blogging about the iPhone doesn’t make me the ultimate information resource for iPhone-related stuff. I never pretended to know it all. I’m just here to share my views and experiences.

@Bent – As I wrote in my article, you cannot take screenshots of these features. Try it and you’ll see. It takes a screenshot but when you go look at it in your images, you’ll realize it didn’t work.

The mono audio option is fo people who are deaf in one ear. That way they can hear what both earbuds play in a single earbud. Apple wanted to make sure every one with all disablitities were taken care of. That’s why I’ll be sticking with apple. It’s the little things that count.

For someone who writes for a blog dedicated to iPhone News & Knowledge, you’re very out of the loop. This was a feature built into the iPhone 3GS and was announced a long time ago.
