Like an idiot I restarted instead of "rebooting"!!!! I pressed the power button which turned it off and on again..
When you say "reboot your iPhone" at the end, what is the particular process? Does it have to be off and then you press and hold the menu button along with the power button until the apple sign comes on? or while its ON do you press and hold menu and power?
Is there also a particular number of seconds that you need to do this for???

Ok I think I understand where I went wrong:

Like an idiot I restarted instead of “rebooting”!!!! I pressed the power button which turned it off and on again..<br

I had to restore to the factory settings and now I'm restoring from what I had backed up. Joy.
Anyone know what went wrong? I have a 3G Iphone using a 3.1.2 firmware.
Help anyone? I desperately want to to go into serious fangirl mode by having my favourite actor's face as my background.. =] Please help so I can pursue this!

I just downloaded and installed blackra1n and all was alright until after I restarted my iphone, all my applications were there EXCEPT and most importantly, my phone app, calendar, text messages, the main ones.
