I currently have my iphone jailbroke and want to keep the unlock. I have internet Teathering but no MMS What is my best option now? Just do an upgrade to 3.1.2??

in replay to my above messege i git it to find the file and in stsll it on my i phone(the problem was i was typing it wrong
but the down side is it doesnt seem to work for thr 2 g models that i habe jailbroken 3.0

so unless theses sumthig else im missing i think im beat here

did every thing right buttt
i have itunes 9 on vista and when i hit shift restore the only type of files i can run are ispw not the file type down loaded…and thats it theres no other choice to select, there a way to fix this

i even tried changing the file to a ispw but it wouldnt run ;(

any help please !!!

I did the upgrade posted here on my wifes 3g. She has the camera and the mms gets sent, but the other person does not receive the pic. Wonder if this could be at&ts fault or the phone.

iPhone 3G with 3.0 jailbreak and the procedure worked flawlessly for me. I cut/pasted the command line for Windows XP to ensure no typos on my part.

Spoke too soon. I have the camera, I can take pics and they show up, but message makes it 3/4 sent and give red ! with fail to send message. Looks like no mms for me until I upgrade.

NVM. Once I updated the carrier listed here, I now have mms with cydia’s “activate mms2g” no extra steps whatsoever. Just installed, rebooted and it was there. Thanks a ton for this thread.
