hi i have got iphone 3gs 4.2.1
used redsn0w and jailbroken and unlocked it i no about the issue of tethered
and i am hoping that the dev guys can sort it soon
but everythig is woring on the iphone apart from the phone any one no why and if i can fix it

i have jailbraked my iphone cause it say yr “sim card is not supported by this iphone”.then after i jailbrake the phone using limera1n,it was successful.but another problem coming up “no carrier detected”.so i used cydia which i hav downloaded from limera1n n search for ultrasnow and installed it to unlock my phone.so it was also successful,the “carrier” item appear on the general setting n i was so happy…but the problem is…the phone cannot detect the network carrier.can someone pls help me.i’m in malaysia.thanks.

Guys, I have an interesting question:
You mentioned once I jailbroken my iphone i will have Cydia
then I have to type in that source repo666….
My question is:
How can I get internet connection from a locked iPhone so that my locked iphone can download that source from repo666 inside Cydia? Wifi?

Hi Guys,

I am having problem with unlocking my iphone 3G. I have jailbroken successfully but the problem is, our IPS has blocked the site repo666.ultrasn0w.com and now I cannot unlock my phone.

Is there any way to use other link for unlocking rather than repo666…..?

A friend has an original iPhone that was upgraded to 3.0 when unlocked. The battery is now dead. If he sends it back to Apple for a battery replacement, will they lock it back up, making it unusable?
