This is not a rumor and it has been verified. Venture Beat reports that in their March 17th event, Apple will not be showing off any new hardware, but it will be previewing iPhone firmware 3.0. In other words, we can expect to have firmware 3.0 released to the public sometimes around June or July. And if we get new software, chances are we’ll get new hardware as well…

Boy Genius Report has been tipped that firmware 3.0 will allow MMS and tethering via BlueThooth and USB. What about this good old copy/paste? That’s a mystery so far…

Maybe……..put I think we will get software only. Sounds very cool though.
But if they release another iPod Touch with crappy speakers I swear I will kill them.

Question: Will it finally allow users to selectively delete call history. The Iphone is one of the rare phones not allowing that and it’s a real pain, when you have a lot of calls and only want to keep a selected few in your history, you either erase all or keep all, neither being a good option

  • Hi Philippe,

Unfortunately, there is no word about your feature request.

I do agree that being able to delete individual calls would be great. One more basic feature to add to the list of features the iPhone is missing…

Hey Philippe go to cydia & search for call id eraser I think it might just be call id anyway with this installed you can delete calls one by one on your iphone

Thanks JT, I looked at the site, my Iphone is not jailbroken and I don’t want to void the warranty.
