Comments on: What are .ipa files?

When trying to download ipa files through installous on my wifi (virgin media) the download speed is very slow (8kb/s). When I use a friends wifi (sky) the speed is 150ish kb/s. When using my wifi the file rarely downloads properly.
Is there a way to make my speed increase? Or is virgin media the problem?
I have tried reinstalling all the software to no avail.
Please help!!!!

but what if i want to install an ipa file on my pc? maybe its dumb….but thats what i want to do…thanx

you wouldnt need to know what the ipa file is unless you are installing them yourself. you will run into trouble too unless you also get appsync for the corresponding firmware
