I am seeing the same pine apple symbol after I use this, what could be the issue, even itunes also not detecting the iphone.. Pls help me..

I tried your steps, but when I completed the steps, it is showing pine apple symbol, nothiing is coming up. I tried switch on/off of my phone, it is not working. Sebastien, please help me on this

So I just bought myself the 3g today, been trying to jailbreak this baby all day. No luck. Keep getting this “The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application”

I suggest you simply restore your iPhone in iTunes and start the process over again.

got a big problem, i was trying to jailbreak and my House-Power went of for 1 min.,
my Computer was shuting down while jailbreakin, since that i only see the pineapple logo. Caqn you please help me

Yes, upgrade to the latest iPhone firmware: 2.0.2…. or wait a few days as Apple will most likely release a new software update tomorrow.

Thanks for the info…Just a quick question…I currently have a 2G iphone with the 1.1.4 firmware. I have unlocked it, jailbroken it and activated it using ziphone.

Do I need to upgrade to 2.0.1 firmware before I start this process?
