Description:
Version 1.1 works better on the iPhone 3G and should be available soon (it was submitted to Apple over a week and a half ago). Please wait for version 1.1 before installing or reviewing this app. The iPhone is so popular that Apple is overwhelmed with application submissions, so please be patient. All upgrades are free.

Perfect for recording your route while walking, running, hiking, biking, boating or traveling on any kind of trip.
Path Tracker turns your iPhone into a speedometer, odometer, stopwatch, altimeter, and GPS location tool.
Features:
- Displays line showing your path on map
- View normal, satellite, or hybrid map
- Saves your path automatically, so you can continue after a phone call
- Choose miles or kilometers
Path Tracker works best on the iPhone 3G with built-in GPS.
New features coming soon in Path Tracker 1.2:
- Path can be saved to the web and exported as KML and GPX.
- Better performance at higher speeds.
- Improved autosaving.
- Translations for Dansk, Español, Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Norsk (bokmÃ¥l), Português, Suomi, and Svenska. Partial translations for Simplified and Traditional Chinese (æ±å and æ¼¢å).
- General fixes and improvements.
I already submitted version 1.2 to Apple, and it has a bunch of great improvements. It usually takes Apple between 1 and 3 weeks to approve updates and make them available, so please be patient.
More Languages:
I’d love to have Path Tracker in all the languages supported by the iPhone. If you’d like to volunteer to translate Path Tracker into Deutsch, Japanese (æ¥æ¬èª), Korean, Polski, or Pyccknn, let me know. It’s easy. I’ll send you a text file with phrases in English, and you just send me the phrases translated into your language.
