Apple encouraging iPhone developers to charge for apps

Apple came up once again with another way to sneakingly get more money out of you. Apple Insider writes about how developers who want to release apps for the iPhone and iPod touch for free are being encouraged by Apple to charge a fee instead.

According to AI, lucky companies are being assigned iPhone development partners who are encouraging developers to charge for rather than give away their wares. Since Apple is making 30% of all applications sales, they do have interests in encouraging business.
